Originally called the Capital Auto Mall it was renamed in 2001 to reflect its physical location. The first dealership, Capitol Coachman opened in 1984. Two years later, the Percival Creek Bridge project connected the Auto Mall location to the Highway 101 interchange and gave easy access to customers. Dealerships continued to relocate to the West Olympia location from downtown Olympia. Now the Olympia Auto Mall's current inventory includes over 4,000 new and used vehicles and state of the art service facilities and parts departments.
